MEDICAL ASSISTANTS (MA): BRAND NEW, ULTRAMODERN URGENT CARE CONCEPT IN OKC METRO!
You are invited to fill a critical role in a brand new, ultramodern urgent care initiative launching several centers throughout the Oklahoma City and Norman, Oklahoma metros. Urgent care centers are owned and operated by one of Oklahoma's largest and most respected nonprofit hospital systems and feature large locations designed with modern furnishings and fixtures, and equipped with all the necessary diagnostic tools including x-ray & a laboratory!
Our stunning, modern urgent care centers focus heavily on the PATIENT EXPERIENCE, providing spectacular patient care and comfort throughout the entirety of their visit!
Highlights include:
- Ultramodern clinics with coffeehouse-style amenities
- Six exam rooms, including a minor procedure suite
- Onsite x-ray & laboratory
- Staffing includes advanced practice providers, x-ray / radiation technologists, LPNs, and MAs
- Off-site support for radiology with near-instantaneous x-ray interpretation/results
- EPIC EMR designed specifically for urgent care medicine
Scheduling of Medical Assistants:
- Full time position features 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Mix of weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts
Compensation Details of MA:
- Hourly rate up to $22.09 based on prior experience
Medical Assistant Benefits:

- 176 hours of PTO first year (increasing to 272 hours over time)

Training & Qualifications Required of MA:
- Currently Certified as a Medical Assistant OR six months of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
- Oklahoma licensure (or ability to obtain licensure in Oklahoma)
- Previous experience with electronic health records and phlebotomy
- Current nationally recognized MA certification/registration, or the ability to obtain certification/registration within 120 days of hire, or the ABR-OE or other nationally recognized credentialing certification.
